Clinic policies and procedures: I intend to provide massage for you in an environment that not only meets Phase 1 requirements for the state of Oregon but also is as safe and secure as possible.
To that end, I am initiating the following policies. These come from Oregon Health Authority(OHA) requirements and suggested guidelines of Association of Bodywork and Massage Professionals, my professional trade organization. I will adjust these policies as needed and as community health dictates.
Scheduling:
Clinic days and hours are changed to Thursday and Friday 9am-4pm and Saturday 10am-4pm. There is more time between sessions to allow for proper cleanup and sanitation. You can still book your appointment online or contact me directly. I will ask that you complete an updated intake form that contains a waiver and screening questions regarding symptoms of COVID.
NOTE: If you answer "Yes" to any of the screening questions on symptoms, then I ask you to reschedule to an appropriate date . You will not be charged any fee for doing so.
Your appointment confirmation email will have a prompt regarding the intake form .
Payment:
Prepayment online is now required to minimize handling cash, checks or cards. This can be done at the time of scheduling on my booking platform Massage Book that is linked to my website. If you wish to pay by cash/check at the time of your appointment, please seal it in an envelope . If you are insured with Kaiser,Providence or Regence, you will have a payment link for your copay.
Session:
Upon arriving, please wait in your car and text your arrival . I will respond by text and unlock the clinic door to let you in. I will be wearing a mask while we are in session. I ask you wear a mask or face covering when you are in the clinic and on the massage table. I can modify that when you are in a face down position. If you do not have a mask, I can provide a clean one. Prior to each session, the room is thoroughly sanitized per OHA requirements.
As we go through these changes, you will continue to receive the quality, concern and detailed attention that you have come to expect from bodywork at my clinic. I look forward to helping you soon.
